2024 Donald Trump

The Father of Coronavirus

On Fox News, Trump adviser Peter Navarro went on a rant, calling Fauci the “father” of the coronavirus

Peter Navarro, a former White House trade adviser, went on a rant on Fox News, calling Dr. Anthony Fauci the “father” of coronavirus.

On Fox News yesterday, former trade advisor Peter Navarro made false statements regarding the coronavirus.

On Tuesday night, Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy asked Navarro about Fauci’s recent statement that the decision to begin working on a coronavirus vaccine in January 2020 “might have been the best decision that I’ve ever made.”

Navarro’s response was: “Fauci is a sociopath who also happens to be a liar. The vaccine had nothing to do with him. Donald J. Trump is the vaccine’s dad.”

In response to one of Dr. Anthony Fauci’s vaccine remarks, he referred to him as the virus’s “dad.”

He went on, “What is Fauci the father of?” “Fauci is the actual father of the virus.”

He then reiterated an unproven hypothesis that the coronavirus originated in a lab in Wuhan, China, and went on to connect Fauci to the lab, despite Campos-statements Duffy’s that he was not challenged on the air.

Trump has complained on several occasions that he is not given credit for his administration’s role in vaccine production and distribution.

He also said former President Donald Trump should get more credit for the vaccine.

Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary under President Joe Biden, has consistently declined to blame Trump for the vaccine production and rollout that occurred during his administration, instead portraying it as a “herculean extraordinary effort by scientific and medical experts.”

Trump stated earlier this month that he had ignored Fauci’s advice on how to tackle the pandemic. Fauci is the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
